Sarah Frances Laffoon

Sarah Frances Laffoon, age 82, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Baptist Health Deaconess, Madisonville, KY. Mrs. Laffoon was born June 17, 1939 in Princeton, KY to the late Rev. Julian Atwood Ethridge and Martha Isabell McKinney Ethridge. Mrs. Laffoon was a 1957 graduate of Caldwell County High School. She worked for over 20 years at Ottenheimer Manufacturing, and she was a beloved mother and homemaker. She was a member of the Dunn Missionary Baptist Church.



Mrs. Laffoon is survived by her beloved husband, William Laffoon of Dawson Springs, KY; four daughters, Karen Ellsworth of Tega Cay, SC; Kelly Goldman of Henryville, IN; Lori Wooton (Jerry) of Dawson Springs, KY; and Jennifer Miller (Randall) of Nebo, KY; two sons, James “Woody” Fassold of Madisonville, KY and Adam Wooton (Nikki); twelve grandchildren, Whitney Ellsworth, Leif Ellsworth, Scott Jennings, Krissy Miller, Tad Timberlake, Amanda Scott, Nathan Fassold, Elizabeth Durham, Emma Miller, Kristin Bullock, Aiden Wooton and Jaxon Wooton; and fourteen great-grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Nata Jean Pinnegar; and a brother, J. T. Ethridge.



A graveside service will be held for Sarah Frances Laffoon on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Blue Springs Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Caldwell County, KY with Rev. Bobby Sellers officiating. Pallbearers include Jerry Wooton, Derek Scott, Randall Miller, Dustin Durham, Adam Wooton, and Johnny Laffoon.
