Robert "Bob" Earl Day

Robert “Bob” Earl Day, age 65, of Austin, TX, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center in Round Rock, TX. Mr. Day was born on August 18, 1952 in Madisonville, KY to the late Earmon Earl Day and Wilma Utley Day. He was a graduate of North Hopkins High School in Madisonville and attended Belmont University School of Music in Nashville, TN. Mr. Day served his country in the United States Army and worked for many years in production and design for Gibson Guitar Company.

He is survived by his life partner ~ Sharyn Belk of Austin, TX; a sister and brother-in-law ~ Betty and Charles Simons of Dawson Springs, KY; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.



He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister ~ Joyce Baker.

A Graveside Service will be conducted on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 1:00 P.M at Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Mike Mochenrose officiating.
