Richard Alan "Rick" Merrill

Richard “Rick” Alan Merrill, age57, of St. Charles, KY passed away on September 23, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Covina, California on November 12, 1962 to the Robert Leon Merrill and Cynthia Belson Gordon. Mr. Merrill was an installer of Fire Sprinkler Systems and a proud member of the Road Sprinkler Fitters Union Local #669.



Richard “Rick” Merrill is survived by his wife, JoAnne Moreno Merrill of St. Charles, KY; his mother, Cynthia Belson Gordon of California; one son, Erik Merrill of Paducah, KY; one step-son and daughter-in-law, Jacob and Victoria Morrissey; two brothers, Chris Merrill and Mike Stambaugh of California; ten grandchildren, Alyssa, Ariana, Jesse, Chloe, Nate, Isaac, Bailey, Gloria, Seamus and Declan; and one great-grandchild, Peyton.



He was preceded in death by his step-father, Dean Stambaugh.



There will be a Memorial Service held in honor of Mr. Merrill on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 2:00 PM CST at the Ilsley Christian Church located at 100 Ilsley Spur, Dawson Springs, KY 42408. Burial will follow at the Ilsley Cemetery.
