Nola Lee Kirkwood

Nola Lee Kirkwood, age 89, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Friday, March 7, 2008 at Tradewater Pointe in Dawson Springs, KY. Mrs. Kirkwood was born on March 1, 1919 in Hopkins County, KY to the late George Albert Beshear and Birdie Constine Clark Beshear. She was a beloved mother and homemaker and was a member of Gospel Assembly Church in Dawson Springs, KY.



Survivors include a son ~ William Racel Kirkwood of Madisonville, KY; a sister ~ Imogene Bellegante of Phoenix, AZ; a half-brother ~ Jewell Dunning of Boaz, KY; grandchildren ~ Crystal Mullins and Tina Roach; great-grandchildren ~ Ciera Isabell, Morgan Roach, Joseph Mullins and Sheryl Mullins.



Mrs. Kirkwood was preceded in death by her parents; her husband ~ Racel Graham Kirkwood (departed 11/5/1997); a son ~ Racel Haynes Kirkwood; a sister ~ Mary Aileen Hibbs and a brother ~ Rufus Beshear.



Visitation for Mrs. Nola Lee Kirkwood will be Sunday, March 9, 2008 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM and Monday, March 10, 2008 from 9:00 AM until the 1:00 PM funeral hour at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Bro. Harley Langley will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.



Pallbearers will be Jeff Beshear, Dwayne Beshear, David Beshear, Gary Goodaker, Encil Huddleston and Tom Langley.
