Naomi Anita Mullins

September 12, 1923 — February 23, 2020

A celebration of life service for Naomi Anita (Bucy) Mullins who graduated to her Heavenly home on February 23rd, 2020 will be held at the First Baptist Church in Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Randall Rogers conducting the service.



Anita was born September 10th 1923 to Nicuss Samuel Bucy and Bertha Stewart Bucy in the Dawson Springs area. Moving throughout her life with her late husband, Russell, she lived most of those years in Huntsville, Alabama where she made many beloved friends and was a member of Highlands Baptist Church while living in Huntsville, AL. She served there many years teaching Sunday school and was a member of the Davis Hills garden club as well as Pennyrile garden club in Dawson Springs where she served as president several years. She was a published poet and loved writing about Jesus and helping people as evidenced throughout her life, and she was dearly loved by all her friends and family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dawson Springs and a member of BEKA Ministry Fellowship group. While she will be greatly missed, we know she is rejoicing with our beloved Savior King Jesus!



She is survived by daughters Lori Lynn Mullins formerly of Nashville, TN and Judith (Workman) Manasco of Dawson Springs, KY and brothers John Bucy of Huntsville, AL and Theron Bucy of Clearwater, FL as well as two grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.



Celebration of life services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Dawson Springs, KY on Friday, February 28th 2020 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers it was her desire and request for donations to be made in her memory to either BEKA Ministry who shares the good news of the Kingdom or Samaritans Purse.
