Mrs. Nora "Mae" Mcknight

Nora “Mae” McKnight, age 75, of St. Charles, KY, passed away at 1:30 A.M. on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, KY. Mrs. McKnight was born on June 19, 1937 in Vanderburgh County, IN to the late Charlie Pleasant and Evelyn Davis Pleasant. She was a beloved mother and homemaker and was a member of Gilland Ridge Baptist Church.



Mrs. McKnight is survived by her husband ~ Joseph Kenneth McKnight of St. Charles, KY; a daughter ~ Lisa McKnight of St. Charles, KY; a son & daughter-in-law ~ Terrell & Debbie McKnight of St. Charles, KY; two sisters ~ Faye Long of London, KY & Brenda Hunt of Dawson Springs, KY; three grandchildren ~ Joshua McKnight, Micha McKnight & Eric Shelton; five great-grandchildren ~ Conner McKnight, Gavin McKnight, Cheydon Shelton, Trevor McKnight & Kamyrn McKnight; several nieces and nephews.



Preceding Mrs. McKnight in death were her parents; two sisters ~ Mona McGregor and Sue Vandiver and a brother ~ Ray Pleasant.



Visitation for Mrs. Nora “Mae” McKnight will be Wednesday, July18, 2012 from 5:00 – 9:00 P.M. and Thursday, July 19, 2012 from 9:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral Services will be Thursday, July 19 , 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home with Rev. J.W. Haire officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in St. Charles, KY.



Active Pallbearers will be Joshua McKnight, Eric Shelton, Micha McKnight, Tommy Vandiver, Randy Vandiver & Mike Long. Honorary pallbearers will be Carlos McKnight, Jeff McKnight, Craig McKnight, Michael Wright, Jake McKnight and Ray McKnight.
