Mrs. Betty Rose Chappel

Betty Rose Chappel, age 76, of Dawson Springs, KY died Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY.



She was born in Hopkins County, Kentucky on July 8, 1936 to the late Paul & Mable Franklin Davis. She worked as a nurse aide at area nursing homes and was also a private sitter. She was of Baptist Faith.



She is survived by a daughter ~ Teresa Chappel of Dawson Springs, KY; a son ~ Billy Chappel of Dawson Springs, KY; four sisters ~ Paula McBride of Crofton, KY, Marilyn Morris of St. Charles, KY, Mary Morris of Henderson, KY & Ann Hayes of Ohio; a brother ~ Ricky Davis of Dalton, KY & four grandchildren ~ Brian Chappel & wife, Brooke; Todd Chappel, Erik Chappel & J.J. Myer and husband, Andrew.



Mrs. Chappel was preceded in death by her parents; her husband ~ Bobby Chappel (departed 1998,) brothers ~ Morris Davis & Bobby Joe Davis and a sister ~ Judy Mae Baine.



A graveside service will be held for Mrs. Betty Chappel on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at 2:00 at Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY. Rev. Doug McBride will preside.



Pallbearers will be Anthony Davis, Cody McBride, Tanner Mullins, Randy Chappel, Kenny Mullins & Steve Kaufhold.
