Mr. Richard Ernest Dickeson

Richard Ernest Dickeson, age 76, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. Mr. Dickeson was born on August 4, 1937 in Niles, Michigan to the late Ernest and Sara College Dickeson. He served his country in the United States Army in Germany and worked for 36 years as plant manager at National Standard in Niles, Michigan. Mr. Dickeson was a member of Adriel Baptist Church.



Mr. Dickeson is survived by his wife of 55 years ~ Bobbie Jo Poe Dickeson of Dawson Springs, KY; a daughter and son-in-law ~ Jill & Mike Schoeplein of St. Joseph, MI; a son ~ Michael Dickeson of Denver, CO; a sister ~ Shirley Hanke of Brandon, FL; six grandchildren ~ Brian & Amanda Dickeson, Kara (Jake) Vienne, Elisha Schoeplein and Micah and Joshua Schoeplein.



Preceding Mr. Dickeson in death were his parents.



Visitation for Mr. Richard Dickeson will be on Friday, March 28 2014 from 10:00 – 11:00 at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 on Friday, March 28, 2014 at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. David Frisbee officiating assisted by Mike and Jill Schoeplein. Burial will take place at Silver Brook Cemetery in Niles, Michigan.
