Mr. Kenneth Ed Haile

February 8, 1926 — July 21, 2012

Kenneth Ed Haile, 86, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 9:15 A.M. at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, Kentucky. Mr. Haile was born February 8, 1926 in Caldwell County, KY. He retired in the late 1970’s after being self-employed in the timber and logging business. He had also worked for Charbon Bridge Company where he helped build the Western Kentucky Parkway. Mr. Haile and his wife operated the Sandefur grocery and gas station and their family owned and operated the C Star Market in Dawson Springs, KY. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Princeton, KY.



Mr. Haile is survived by: a step-daughter ~ Cheryl Alexander Towe of Dawson Springs, KY; three step-grandchildren ~ Tracy (Chris) Miller Carlton, Rhonda (Jay) Miller Kittinger & Laura Miller; five step-great-grandchildren ~ Kristina Carlton Nash, Kelly Carlton, Chase Kittinger, Clay Kittinger & Carissa Belle Burns; one step-great-great granddaughter ~ Audrey Blake Nash.



Preceding Mr. Haile in death were his parents ~ Allen Branson & Dovie Mae Orten Haile; his wife of 40 years~ Martene Sandefur Haile ~ (departed 1/29/2012); three sisters ~ Mary Pritchard, Ruth Thomas & Shirley Hogan; six brothers ~ Cecil, Porter, Ralph, Robert, Lonnie & Johnny Haile.



Visitation will be Friday, July 27, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. and Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 8:00 – 10:30 A.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Randall Phillips and Rev. Randall Rogers on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at Beshear Funeral Home with burial at Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, Kentucky.



Active pallbearers will be Chase Kittinger, Clay Kittinger, Ronnie Haile, , Brady Brooks, Tony Haile, & Steve Hogan. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Pritchard, Jackie Thomas, Steve Thomas, Chris Carlton, Jay Kittinger, Bill Townzen & Steve Smiley.
