Michael Andrew Dowd, age 29, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on, February 7, 2021 at Nortonville, KY. Mr. Dowd was born on April 10, 1991 in Madisonville, KY to Grant “Michael” Dowd and Crystal “Dawn” Cardin Dowd. He was a 2010 graduate of Dawson Springs High School and was self-employed.



He is survived by his mother ~ Dawn Dowd of Dawson Springs, KY; his father ~ Grant Dowd of Texas; a son ~ Tannar Lee Dowd of Dawson Springs, KY; two sisters ~ Lauren Elizabeth (Micah) White of Hodgenville, KY and Candalen Shelby of Dawson Springs, KY; maternal grandmother ~ Katherine Cardin of Dawson Springs, KY; paternal grandparents ~ Jean and Terry Dowd of Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada; three nephews ~ Aidan Turner, Jack White and Eirik White; a beloved duck ~ Daffy Deal and several special cousins.



Mr. Dowd is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather ~ John Cardin.



Visitation for Mr. Michael Andrew Dowd will be on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral hour at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Rev. Christopher Hill and Katherine Thompson will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Menser Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY. Pallbearers will be Melvin Todd, Micah White, Joe Cullen, Matt Huddleston, Jacob Harris & Justin Mitchell.

In an effort to deter the spread of covid-19 face masks and social distancing will be required.
