Mary Kathryn Jones

Mary Kathryn Jones, age 83, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Jones was born on December 19, 1924 in Caldwell County, KY to the late Zephania “Z.D.” Orange and Bloxie Lou Holeman Orange. She was a beloved mother and homemaker and worked for Bethlehem Steel in New York City during World War II. Mrs. Jones was a lifelong member of Mr. Pisgah Baptist Church in Caldwell County, KY.



Survivors include a daughter ~ Deborah Hopper of Crofton, KY; sons ~ Michael Jones of Princeton, KY, Stephen Jones of Princeton, KY, and Daniel Jones of Dawson Springs, KY; sisters ~ Janice White of Maryville, TN and Ruth Menius of Dawson Springs, KY; brothers ~ Lawrence Orange of Dawson Springs, KY and Darrell Orange of Madisonville, KY; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.



Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents; her husband ~ Clifton E. Jones (departed 2/10/1992); a sister ~ Linda Grisham and brothers ~ Texal Orange, Clifton “Pip” Orange and James Desmond Orange.



Visitation for Mrs. Mary Kathryn Jones will be Wednesday, February 13, 2008 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM and Thursday, February 14, 2008 from 9:00 AM until the 1:00 PM funeral hour at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Rev. Johnny Davis and Rev. William Baird will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Creekmur Cemetery in Caldwell County, KY.

Pallbearers will be Steve Jones, Jim Hicks, Danny Jones, Dan Jones, David Jones and Brad Jones.
