Joseph Ray Berry, age 58, of Madisonville, KY and formerly of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Berry was born on March 20, 1962 in Princeton, KY to the late Gilbert Berry and Minnie Maxine Adams Berry. He was a 1980 graduate of Dawson Springs High School. He served as a bus driver for the Dawson Springs Independent School District for 14 years and formerly he worked as a Security Officer for Warrior Coal. Mr. Berry was a member of the Walnut Grove Family Worship Center.
Mr. Berry is survived by his wife of 36 years, Cathy Tucker Berry of Madisonville, KY; a daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Tim Allen of Madisonville, KY; a son, Adam Berry, of Madisonville, KY; one grandson, Noah Allen; and one sister, Janice (Ronald) Stallins of Dawson Springs, KY.
Preceding Mr. Berry in death are his parents; and one daughter, Ciciley Berry.
Visitation for Joseph Ray Berry will be Friday, July 3, 2020 from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM CST at the Walnut Grove Family Worship Center, 550 Walnut Grove Rd., Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Adam Berry, Rev. Mike Rambo and Rev. Brian Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Dawson Springs, KY.
Active pallbearers include Stacey Grable, Mark McGregor, Curtis Beshear, Travis Faughender, Rev. Brian Richardson, Harvey Martin, and Glenn Sisk. Honorary Pallbearers include Noah Allen, Tim Allen, Joe Loney, Chris Smiley, and David Hampton.
