John Earl "Scooter" Nichols

John Earl Nichols, age 61, of Dawson Springs, KY was pronounced dead, May 15, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Nichols was born on May 22, 1957 in Madisonville, KY to the late James Earl Nichols and Gloria “Jody” Nash Nichols. He was a coal miner and owned and operated “Scooters” Auto Detail Shop in Dawson Springs for many years. He was a member of the Apostolic Holiness Church.



Mr. Nichols is survived by his mother ~ Gloria “Jody” Nash Nichols of Dawson Springs, brother & sister-in-law ~ Jim and Peggy Nichols of Clarksville, TN, and niece ~ Sarah Ann Nichols.



Preceding Mr. Nichols in death is his father ~ James Earl Nichols (departed 2-9-2012)



There will be a grave side service held for Mr. John Earl Nichols on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, 10:00 AM at Rosedale Cemetery with Rev. Robert Akers, officiating. Pallbearers will be Mike Cotton, Larry Duncan, Tommy Hardwick, Jimmy Kingery, Richard Jennings, and David Sewell.
