Howard Ray Morris

Howard Ray Morris, age 67, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Monday, October 26, 2020 at Baptist Health Medical Facility, Madisonville, KY. Mr. Morris was born on June 18, 1953 in Madisonville, KY to the late James Howard Morris and Betty Louise Woodruff. He was a 1971 graduate of South Hopkins High School. He worked as a “Blaster” for Austin Powder for thirty years followed by MEMSCO many more years until his retirement.



Mr. Morris is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Wanda Faye Jackson Morris of Madisonville, KY; one son and daughter-in-law, Kevin Dwayne and Melissa Louise Morris of Mt. Vernon, IL; a sister, Judy Gail Morris of White Plains, KY; and two grandchildren, Hunter Matthew Morris and Makenna Faith Morris.



Mr. Morris is preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Faye Crunk and Beverly Guinn.



Visitation for Mr. Howard Ray Morris will be Friday, October 30, 2020, from 11:00 AM CST until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM CST at Beshear Funeral Home, 201 N. Main St., Dawson Springs, KY 42408 with burial to follow at the Salem Memorial Garden in Mortons Gap, KY with Rev. Rick Hatley officiating.



Active pallbearers include Stephen Grimes, Hunter Morris, Kevin Morris, Willie Adams, Jacob Adams, James Crunk, Jeff Jackson and Justin Crunk. In an effort to deter the spread of covid-19, face masks and social distancing will be required.
