Elmer Charles Kruse

Elmer Charles Kruse, age 78, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Golden Living Woodbridge, Evansville, IN. Mr. Kruse was born on August 6, 1942 to the late Elmer August Kruse and Beatrice Bernice Abbott Kruse Stege in Elgin, IL. He attended some college, served his country in the US Navy, and worked as a machinist. He was a member of the Charleston Baptist Church.



He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Cynthia Towery Kruse of Dawson Springs, KY; two daughters, Tina Wirth and Connie (Rick) Oliver of Dawson Springs, KY; one son, Elmer B. (Carla) Kruse of Dawson Springs, KY; two brothers, Bob Justice and Jim Kruse of Elgin, IL; one sister, Debbie (Mark) Hubertus of MO; nine grandchildren, Josh & Drew Wirth, Kim Sullivan and Jonathan Sisk, Justin, Tiki, and Aaron Robinson, India Ahlert, and Nathaniel Rau; and eleven great-grandchildren.



Mr. Kruse is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Ricky Allen Kruse; granddaughter, Star Suttle; two sisters, Phyllis Chapman and Sherrie Ann; and a son-in-law, Donnie Wirth.
