Edna Alberta Davis Stallins

Edna Alberta Davis Stallins, age 94, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on November 1, 2016 at the Tradewater Pointe Health and Rehab Center in Dawson Springs, KY. Ms. Stallins was born on November 13, 1921 to the late Willie Davis and Cordie Williams Davis. She worked in the cafeteria for 18 years with the Dawson Springs School System, and she was a member of the First Baptist Church.



Ms. Stallins is survived by her daughter ~ Ann Vandiver of Dawson Springs, a sister ~ Katherine Orten of Madisonville, two grandsons ~ Jason (Samantha) Edwards and Jim (Misty) Edwards of Dawson Springs, and four great grandchildren ~ Carter, Brayden, Cole, and Keiley.



Preceding Ms Stallins in death are her parents, her husband ~ Harold Stallins (departed 2-26-14), a sister ~ Cecil Fields, and two brothers ~ Eugene Davis and Paul Ray Davis.



Visitation for Edna Stallins will be Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs. Visitation will continue on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, with Elder Jeff Winfrey officiating. Burial will follow at Ilsley Cemetery. Active pallbearers include: Jason Edwards, Jim Edwards, Jamie Swatzell, Willie Adams, Eddie Payne, Larry Davis, Darrell Davis and Ronnie Fields.
