Dorothy Mae Corn

Dorothy Mae Corn, age 93, of Sebree, KY and formerly of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at Colonial Terrace Nursing Home in Sebree, KY. Mrs. Corn was born on April 28, 1914 in Rockport, IN to the late Calder F. and Pina Belva Ward Jackson. She was a beloved mother and was an Avon Lady for 43 years and was a member of Baptist Temple in Dawson Springs, KY.



Survivors include three daughters ~ Carolyn Darnell of Dawson Springs, KY, Brenda Bratcher of Charleston, KY and Debby Puckett of Bowling Green, KY; two sons ~ Gene Corn of Dawson Springs, KY and Bob Corn of Owensboro, KY; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great grandchildren.



Mrs. Corn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband ~ Laverne “Bus” Corn (departed 10/15/1966); a sister ~ Juanita Williams and two brothers ~ Calder Jackson and Robert Jackson.



Visitation for Mrs. Dorothy Mae Corn will be Tuesday, March 18, 2008 from 500 - 8:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY and on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 from 9:00 AM until the 2:30 PM funeral hour at Beshear Funeral Home. Rev. Donnie Howton will officiate the service and burial will follow in New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville, KY.
