Dara Marie Frost

Dara Marie Frost, age 82, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on December 21, 2019 at Colonial Terrace, Sebree, KY. Mrs. Frost was born on January 25, 1937 in Macon, Georgia to the late William “Bill” Goforth and Vida King Goforth. She received a BA from University of Evansville, IN and a Masters Degree from Murray State University. Mrs. Frost was a retired elementary school teacher with Hopkins County Schools having taught the second grade for many years at Charleston School. Additionally, she was a beautician. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Dawson Springs.



Mrs. Frost is survived by a daughter ~ Jenne Elizabeth Frost (Dennis) Palmer of Panama City, FL; son ~ Jack (Dianne) Frost of Clay, KY; three grandchildren ~ Dylan Frost, Bryan Frost and Nathan Frost; and two great-grandchildren ~ Kendall Frost and Kynlee Frost.



Preceding Mrs. Frost in death is her parents, her husband ~ Jack Harvey Frost (9-2019); two sons ~ Timothy Frost and Darryl Frost; four siblings ~ Paul, Jack, Mary and Billy.



Visitation for Mrs. Jack Frost will be Friday, December 27, 2019 from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY with Elder Jeff Winfrey and the Honorable Jim Brantley officiating. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery. Active Pallbearers include Dylan Frost, Bryan Frost, Nathan Frost, Zack Barnes, & Carson Brown. Honorary Pallbearers include Chris Smiley, Cole Wigley, and Carl Buzzard.
