Daisy Myrl Bratcher

Daisy Myrl Bratcher, age 89, of Metairie, LA, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at St. Joseph Hospice in River Ridge, LA. Mrs. Bratcher was born on June 5, 1929 in Butler County, KY to the late Stewart Newton and Lydia McKinney Parks. She was a beloved mother and grandmother and was of the Apostolic Pentecostal faith.



Mrs. Bratcher is survived by four children ~ Kathryn Bratcher Hays of Madisonville, KY, Martha Bratcher Wyatt of Metairie, LA, Gordon (Mary Ann) Bratcher of Madisonville, KY & Sandra Bratcher (Jim) Hight of Carrollton, KY; nine grandchildren ~ John Thomas Hays, Angelia Hays Cutchin, Jonathan Wyatt, Lenora Michelle Wyatt Meche, Lisa Bratcher Smith, Janet Bratcher Woodward, Felicia Hight Bushwitz, James Ray High and Amanda Leigh Hedrick and eight great-grandchildren.



She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband ~ Willie Ray Bratcher (departed 8/2/1985); an infant son ~ Willie Dean Bratcher; a sister ~ Beatrice Parks Smith; a brother ~ Homer Clay McKinney and an infant sister.



Visitation for Mrs. Daisy Bratcher will be Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 8:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral hour at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM at Beshear Funeral Home with Rev. David Durham and Mr. Logan Smith officiating. Music will be provided by Earl Smith and J.R. and Felicia Hight Bushwitz. Burial will follow in Cook Cemetery in Morgantown, KY.



Pallbearers include J.T. Hays, Felicia Bushwitz, Travis Smith, James Ray Hight, Tiki Woodward, Chris Bietler, Logan Smith and Andrew Bushwitz.
