Clearinda Mitchell Morfoot

Clearinda Mitchell Morfoot, age 86, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Morfoot was born March 5, 1932 in Dawson Springs, KY to the late Lillyard Mitchell and Birdie Lou Jackson Mitchell. She worked for many years in the cafeteria at Charleston School and was a member of the Star of Bethlehem Church.



Mrs. Morfoot is survived by two daughters ~ Elaine Joyce (Charles) Giffin and Janet Faye (John) Doroba of Dawson Springs, KY; two brothers ~ Virgil Mitchell of Dawson Springs, KY and R.V. Lee (Frieda) Mitchell of Madisonville, KY; a sister ~ Angie Davis of Madisonville, KY; six grandchildren ~ Troy Wayne (Terri) Giffin, Brad (Kandi) Giffin, John Wayne (Lisa) Doroba, Jeff Morfoot, Harley (Heather) Morfoot and Jordan Morfoot and seven great-grandchildren ~ Travis Giffin, Ben Giffin, Kaleb Giffin, Nathaniel Giffin, Alexis Doroba, Logan Doroba and Jeff Morfoot.



She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband ~ Robert Morfoot (departed 12/17/1998) and a son ~ Jeffrey Robert Morfoot (departed 10/18/1997).



Visitation for Clearinda Mitchell Morfoot will be Sunday, June 24, 2018, from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at Star of Bethlehem Church, 1315 Racetrack Road, Dawson Springs, Kentucky 42408 with Rev. Brad Giffin and Rev. Ben Giffin officiating. Burial will follow in Ilsley Cemetery.



Active Pallbearers will be John Wayne Doroba, Jeff Morfoot, Ben Giffin, Troy Giffin, Travis Giffin and Kaleb Giffin. Harley Morfoot, Logan Doroba, Jordan Morfoot and Nathaniel Giffin will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
