Brother Denzel Dwayne Sizemore

Denzel Dwayne Sizemore, age 72, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Kindred Hospital in Louisville, KY. Brother Sizemore was born on April 28, 1942 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Wilbur Wilson Sizemore and Mona Maude Villines Sizemore. He was a 1960 graduate of South Hopkins High School, and he served his country in the United States Navy from 1960-1964. He served his Lord and Master by pastoring the Faith Apostolic Church in Princeton, KY for thirty years and he served as a minister of the gospel for forty nine years. Additionally, for many years he worked with the U.S. Postal Service as a postal carrier. He was a designated member of the Kentucky Order of Kentucky Colonels.



Brother Sizemore is survived by his wife of 53 years ~ Beverly Ann Pendley Sizemore of Dawson Springs, KY; a son ~ Tim Sizemore of Dawson Springs, KY; two daughters ~ Debbie (Chris) Brown of Princeton, KY and Denise Sizemore of Dawson Springs, KY. He is survived by a brother ~ Dural Sizemore of Evansville, IN; five grandchildren ~ Caleb Dwayne Oliver, Rachel Aleah Sizemore, Samantha Jones, April Brown, and Chris Brown, Jr., and six great grandchildren.



Preceding Brother Sizemore in death are his parents, two sisters ~ Delilah Burden and Delores Bourland; and a brother ~ Donald Sizemore.



Visitation for Brother Sizemore will be on Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY and from 8:00 AM until the funeral hour at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 11, 2014 with military rites prior to burial at Rosedale Cemetery after the conclusion of the funeral service.
