Anna M. Akin Reece

Anna M. Akin Reece, age 91, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at the Tradewater Health and Rehabilitation Center, Dawson Springs, KY. Ms. Reece was born on October 15, 1926 in Christian County, KY to the late Les McKnight and Nova Eli McKnight. She enjoyed working as an Avon Representative in the area for many years. She attended the New Hope Holiness Church.



Ms. Reece is survived by a son and daughter-in-law ~ Leon and Sue Akin of Dawson Springs, two grandchildren ~ Sam Akin and Jamie Compton, and two step-children.



Preceding Ms. Reece in death is her first husband ~ Sam Akin, her second husband ~ Jack Reece, one grandson ~ Michael Akin, and her sister ~ Erma Brown.



There will be a graveside service for Ms. Reece on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, 11:00 AM, at the Macedonia Cemetery in Christian County, KY with the Rev. Butch McKnight presiding. Pallbearers will be Sam Akin, Leon Akin, Jamie Compton, Jess Eli, Donnie Jones, and Mitchell Trotter.
