Sarah Lou Hammons

Sarah Lou Hammons, age 48, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. Ms. Hammons was born on March 2, 1970 in Madisonville, KY to Gladys Asllsbrooks Blanton and to the late Calvin Cansler, Jr.. She was a beloved mother and grandmother and was of the Baptist faith.



Ms. Hammons is survived by her mother; three daughters ~ Lora Hammons of Dawson Springs, KY, Emily Menser of Hopkinsville, KY and Kaytla Ebelhar of Owensboro, KY; a son ~ Matthew Hayes of Dawson Springs, KY; two sisters ~ Mary Ashby of Morganfield, KY and Sharon Anderson of Dawson Springs, KY; two brothers ~ John Allsbrooks of Madisonville, KY and Bobby Cansler of Lyman, SC and five grandchildren ~ Aleyah Hammons, Derek Hammons, True Menser, Trypp Menser and Madilynn Ebelhar.



Ms. Hammons is preceded in death by her father; two brothers ~ David Allsbrooks and Haskell Blanton.



Visitation for Ms Sarah Lou Hammons will be Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 9:30 AM until the memorial service hour at 11:00 AM at Richland Missionary Baptist Church, Richland, KY with Rev. Jim Lantrip officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM at McNeely Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.
