Rebecca L. Jager

Rebecca “Becky” L. Jager 59 of Menominee, Michaigan passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at home. She was born on October 16, 1957, to Fred “Dolphine” and Floretta (Mitchell) Hooper in Madisonville, KY. On August 6, 1989, Becky married Daniel J. Jager. Becky graduated from college with a number of different degrees and loved using them to home school her children. She loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed playing badminton, corn hole, and washers. She also enjoyed fishing, watching movies, and was learning how to garden. Mrs. Jager was a member of Star of Bethlehem Church in Dawson Springs, KY.

Becky is survived by her husband of 27 years, Daniel Jager of Menominee, MI; children: Karissa (Chris) Nichols of Clarksville, TN, Shaun (Jeanie) Jager of Madisonville, KY, and Colton Jager of Menominee, MI; grandchildren: Alexandra and Faith Kolb, Christopher (Colby) Nichols, Dylan McLevain and Jacob Jager; sisters, Marketa (Ray) Keown and Tammy (Chris) Vaughn; a brother, John Sharp; brother and sister in laws: Judy (Ted) Schmitt, Sharon Mankovecky, Carol (Gary) Wright, Therese Richardson, Dawn (Rick) Markgraf, Diane (Tom) Baumgarten, Mary Arnoldussen, Lynn (Mike) Vande Hey, Brian (Carla) Jager, Scott Jager; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Samantha.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dophine and Floretta Hooper; step father, Leonard Curneal, additionally by brothers in law: Curt Mankovecky, Gerald Richardson, Jim Arnoldussen, and father and mother in law, Merlin “Mike” and Alice Jager.

Visitation for Mrs. Rebecca “Becky” Jager will be Monday, July 10, 2017 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 8:00 A.M.until the 9:30 AM funeral hour at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Brad Giffin officiating. Burial will follow in Ilsley Cemetery in Ilsley, KY.



Pallbearers will be Chris Nichols, Colton Jager, Logan Bailey, Shaun Jager, Colby Nichols and Christian Maurique.
