Elmer Thurman Moore

Elmer Thurman Moore, age 77, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Moore was born on May 31, 1939 in Dalton, KY to the late Ernest Thurman Moore and Grady Poe Moore. For 40 years he worked in the tree service business and was a member of Victory Temple Church in Rabbit Ridge, KY.



Surviving family members include his daughter ~ Teresa (Jeremiah) Jones of Madisonville, KY; a son ~ Rev. Kenneth Moore of Madisonville, KY; two brothers ~ Robert Earl Moore and Ernest Moore, Jr. both of Dawson Springs, KY; a grandson ~ Noah Jones.



He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife ~ Josephine Moore; a son ~ Rodney Moore; a grandson ~ Ashton Jones; sisters ~ Patsy Clark and Georgia Sutton and brothers ~ Billy and Richard Moore.



Visitation for Mr. Elmer Thurman Moore will be Sunday, April 9, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. and on Monday, April 10, 2017 from 9:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M.at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral Services to be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Beshear Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in Dunn Cemetery.
