Cora Jean Musgrove

Cora “Jean” Musgrove, age 86, of Hopkinsville, KY and formerly of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville, KY. Mrs. Musgrove was born on August 8, 1930 in Dawson Springs, KY to the late Willie Gladys Wilkey Townzen and Dewey Townzen. She was a 1948 graduate of Charleston High School. Mrs. Musgrove worked at the Commercial Bank of Dawson for 40 years and was a member of the Disciples of Christ Christian Church.



Mrs. Musgrove is survived by a daughter and son-in-law~ Pam & David Coombs of Hopkinsville, KY; a brother ~ Bill Townzen of Dawson Springs, KY; three grandchildren ~ Steven (Cheslea) Brown, Amy (Phillip) Knight and Darla (Travis) Ebling; six great-grandchildren ~ Matthew, Carson, Connor, Ethan, Hunter and Miranda.



She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband ~ Howard Musgrove; a daughter ~ Beth Ann Musgrove; and a brother ~ Norman Townsend.



Visitation for Mrs. Musgrove will be Friday, April 21, 2017 from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home with the Rev. Dustin Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.



Pallbearers will be Steven Brown, Travis Ebling, James Musgrove, Phillip Knight, Fred Herndon and Jeff Townzen.
